Asked: Can I bleach my hair and use a box dye over it to get the right shade of blonde? Please help?

I have grown out highlights that aren't as bright anymore and I was wondering could I bleach my hair all over then put an ash blonde box dye over it to get rid if orange or yellow tones?
I have naturally mousey blonde hair that hairdressers have told me develops quickly if that makes any difference

If so, any good box dye recommendations?
