Asked: help with my hair?? what should i do?? :/?
ok.. about 2 weeks before my cousin got a fringe i said to her that i have been wanting a fringe for ages.. then she got one and my other cousin told me to do what i always wanted to to with my hair, so i did.. i got a fringe and then my mum got a bit angry at me for getting a fringe because she said that everyone in my family will think that i had copied my cousin BUT REALLY I DIDNT, SHE COPIED ME! so i am putting on headbands so no one will notice my fringe until it starts to grow out to the length of my normal hair length.. is that the right thing to do? what do you think i should do?

Idk why your mother is acting that way. It’s just a fringe! It’s not like you both colored your hair blue and got the same haircut! Who cares if you did or didn’t get the fringe because she did? That’s silly. I mean i know you didn’t and that’s actually happened to me before when i was younger multiple times with the same friend when i would tell her a type of piercing i wanted and two days later she got it cuz she had lots of money and i didn’t have money to get stuff done that i wanted and it made me mad at the time cuz i didn’t want to get it anymore cuz ppl would think i was copying her when she actually copied me, but i ended up being ok with it cuz i saw how silly they looked on her and i knew i would’ve regretting it if i had got it. But as i got older, i stopped telling ppl my ideas, and that obviously helped and i also realized, at the end of the day, it’s my body and my decisions what i want to do with it, and if someone has the same haircut as me or same piercing as me, i don’t even pay it any mind. You can’t have something that at least one person in the world doesn’t have too. So i wouldn’t worry about it, just try to look better than her, style your hair better and rock it! Good luck!
