All humans grow hair, about 13mm a month… everyone hair would be about the same length regardless of texture, obviously the curlier hair would appear shorter, but if it was straightened, it’d be the same length.

The thicker and longer hair is, the more pressure it puts on the scalp. So fine hair will grow faster and to a longer point than thick hair, because hair that is too long and thick may cause balding
