Asked: Different methods in removing leg hair?

I want a more affordable way to remove it besides shaving. I don't like shaving because it leaves behind the sight of dark "dots" all over my legs and its very unattractive and gross looking. I shaved too early and it made the hair grow thicker but when i got older it became thinner but when I shave it still shows the dots.
I want to try waxing, but i'm not sure of the cost
I've tried using a shower cream to get rid of it, but it only lasted 2 days then it grew back
I've also tried the smooth away thing, and its very time consuming

Waxing can be quite messy, and sometimes not completely effective. If you don't do it right, a lot of individual hair strands can be left behind and you'll have to pluck that yourself.
In terms of cost, wax-strips can be bought in bulk in some places, (I found a place which sells 300 of them for $30. Not sure about quality). The most common brand where I live though, is called Veet and they cost about $18 for a pack of 20.

Do note that quality is quite important when it comes to buying wax strips. Some of the cheaper ones tend to be quite ineffective at hair removal and they also leave a lot of wax residue. You could remove them using the finish wipes that usually come in the box, but it's troublesome.

Where I live, you can get your legs waxed for you at about $40.

There are things called epilators, which plucks your leg hair (google them). They're quite effective, and it's a one-time kind of purchase. They also don't damage your skin that much. But they can be quite expensive. Still cheaper than buying wax strips over and over again though.

Good luck!

You should invest in an epilator because it'll remove the hair from the roots which means that there won't be any dark dots left behind. It's quite painful to use at first, but you do get used to it after time.
It might come at a cost but it's totally worth it because it'll last long because you don't need to use it much as it removes from the roots meaning it'll take time for it to grow back.

I hope this helped you in someways.

I would say tresemme. Tresemme has made a big difference to my hair. It's longer fuller and healthier. I've never used Pantene but I can give you my recommendation on tresemme. Also it's salon quality.
