Asked: Do you think my hair is healthy? How to improve?

I have really long, thick, black hair up to my butt (yes it grows very fast) so I tie it up usually. I wash it every other day because it’s really dry. I blow dry it once a week. I never straighten my hair EXCEPT my bangs which I do 5 times a week (for college). I also drink 3 litres of watera day, no junk food and have 4/5 servings of fruit and veg a day. I sleep at 12:30 am ish and my hair does fall out a lot some weeks and not others weirdly. Should I put coconut oil or something on it as that’s highly recommended?

Yes, i think that your hair is very healthy. Her are some tips to improve:

-If your hair is dry, you should only be washing it 1/2 times a week. I have normal type hair, and only wash it 2/3 times a week, so you shouldn’t be washing it every other day.
-Are you using a shampoo and conditioner designed for dry hair? Or one that moisturises your hair? You should look for shampoos and conditioners that are designed for dry hair, if you use them, you won’t have to wash your hair as much!
-It doesn’t matter if you heat style your hair, just use a heat protectant. Also get regular hair cuts every 6 months or so.

Don’t believe the split end myth,i have not cut my hair for 8 month, heat style it 2/3 times a week and i still don’t have bad split ends!

Coconut oil may make your hair too greasy, just follow my tips and you hair will not be as dry!

Keep your diet going as well, you are very healthy.
