Asked: Excessive Hair Loss.. what?

Recently, within the past month, I've been losing a lot more hair than usual. I don't dye my hair, don't blow dry, don't swim, don't straighten or curl. I had a lot of split ends but I cut them off.I've gone about five years of washing my hair everyday.. and of course I know that's unhealthy, but it was never a big problem before. Then all of a sudden recently, I started to lose more hair, so I started washing my hair every other day. And I feel like it made it worse for some odd reason. I learned to not comb my hair when it's wet, so I'd just dab it with a towel and GENTLY stroke it with my hands. But when I do that, strands just come off effortlessly.. in pairs of 2 or groups of 3. I thought maybe it's my shampoo too, even though I've been using the same shampoo for quite some time. So I switched.. and there is no change. So..unless I have cancer.. but that's preposterous. Or maybe it's not, I don't know. I also eat a lot of fruits, veggies, and I exercise often to try to keep everything healthy. Any ideas? I don't want to grow bald.. but I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

And I'm a girl in case the name is a little misleading.

see, you're overthinking the issue.

i bet ANY person growing up in something that at least remotely resembled a working family has some sort of "comfort idea".. someone remember's his grandma's favourite pastry, someone else remembers critters fiddling at the creek he used to go fishing with his dad..

you've got this blanket. i like the sensation of ring of hairs twisting around my fingers.. and the linen of my blanket grabbed inbetween my toes. yeah.. i'm a goddamn monkey baby.

it's nothing obsessive compulsory. it's something completely natural.. a mental hideaway. … unless of course it prevents you from normal functioning.

I dont think your addicted I think your just experimenting how different textures feel thats what everyone does, thats how you learn the world and your surroundings. If you realize babies always want to touch different things because they are curious. If your going out of your way to touch something like getting up during class and touching a piece of chalk then you need help. But if you just like touching different things its just a hobbie and something you like.
