Asked: Repair chemically damaged hair? HELP?!?

I have wavy frizzy hair that is around two or three inches below my shoulders. When I was 9 I chemically straightened my hair, which I know is a HUGE mistake. My hair back then was below my chest by three or four inches. It got damaged so I cut off a bit of the length. I repeated the treatment again. And that resulted into trimming my hair. After a year or so, my hair started breaking off and falling and I found out that it wasn't the whole piece of hair, it was just the ends where the chemical has stayed in. So I decided to cut my hair to the length it is in now to get rid of the pieces that keep breaking off. Up until now my hair didn't fall or break. I regret it and will NEVER EVER consider doing it again. I am 13 now going into 14. Four years has passed since the last chemical treatment. My hair didn't even grow half an inch since that day! I haven't seen a doctor because I am afraid about what they'll tell me. If you have any advice please tell me!

Theres nothing wrong with you hun, so don't be scared of what the doctor will say :] you just really damaged your hair, like so many of us have done. try taking vitamins that are specifically for hair. You can find the one you like by searching "hair vitamins" on Google (its cheaper to buy it off amazon) do hot oil treatments on your hair too. You can also Google how to do that. Your damaged hair won't go back to what it was though, you can only prevent it from getting even more damaged. You have to wait for new hair to grow. Take hair vitamins though!!! :]
