any type of oil is goot for hair. if you use olive oil use extra virgin. you can use coconut oit argan oil grapeseed oil any oil really but jojaba grapeseed and argan are best. heres a major tip. use cayenne pepper. it will increase bloodflow to the surface of your skin and stimulate the folicles of your hair causing them to grow faster. mix 25g of cayenne pepper with 500ml of oil. heat on low heat everyday for 2 weeks until you infuse the pepper into the oil. the oil will take on the color of the pepper. when it is warm use enough to saturate your scalp and massage into your skin for a half hour every day before washing it out. it can take up to 6 months to see results because damaged folicles must first heal themselves before producing healthy hair. it works i swear it does. i can make my hair grow over an inch a month and thats without using other methods but i have been using cayenne method for a few years now. good luck
