Asked: how should I start looking more like a metal fan?
I've been listening to metal for 7 years now, and I listen to bands such as Iron Maiden, Arch Enemy, Slipknot, Metallica, ACDC, etc. I have a few band shirts but I can't wear them to school because I'm in a hair design program and I have to look "professional". I'm a 23 year old female and my boyfriend is a metal fan, he's like one of Iron Maiden's biggest fans. He used to have long hair but he's growing it out again after he cut it and he says I should dress like a metal fan too because I love the music but my style is more "normal" (whatever that is,lol). I'm going to start with wearing heavier make up and I'm thinking of streaking my hair blue or purple (my hair is naturally black). any more ideas? thanks!

Simply a metal fan should have long hair, Dreadlocks or just bald. And wear Black T-Shirt and Black jeans. And the type of the jeans depends on the music you listen to e.g. Death Metal fans wear Black Cargo Jeans, Groove Metal fans prefer Camouflage Shorts and Pants. But if you wanna be a real fan you just have to share the philosophy and love the music.

Just be yourself ..wear what ever you want ..I listen to metal for 5 years and I tried to wear band shirts but I just don't feel good in them (I guess I don't like when people give me strange looks when they see Ccorpse shirt) ..I like battlejackets though
