Asked: What is the best shampoo,conditioner and products to use for my hair?
I have very thick curly hair but I also have damaged hair and I also have at least 7 years of hard water in my hair. I use Panteene which works but it doesn't make my hair shinny. I can't use V05 conditioner because it doesn't do anything for me. I try looking things up on the internet but it doesn't have the kind of hair that I do. I just did a hot oil treatment on Sunday and it helped but it didn't get rid of the dryness in my hair. The dryness i know is caused by the hard water and I dyed my hair using the hard water. When i take a shower my hair is like a plant in the soil when watering it it just soaks up the water and most of the strands of hair are dry again. I don't know what else to do I'm really close to just shaving my hair and letting it grow back to the type of hair that i want. i even try to straighten it when i feel like standing in front of a mirror for like 3 hours but you can really tell that my hair is dry and it feels like a horses tail curly or dry. Could it also be that i have split ends and if so is there anything out there that takes care of dryness,damage,split ends, ect.???

I cannot use Pantene or VO5 products because they are just too 'waxy' for my fine textured hair. Good luck!

Try washing your hair and leave the conditioner in it and wrap in a hot towel leave it on all night and rinse in the morning..
