Asked: female with facial hair, HELP!?

I have had this excessive facial hair around my chin throughout my 20s. I have done everything in the book to try and remove it, threading, waxing, plucking, laser, electrolysis…it just keeps on coming back! Threading makes it grow back within 2 days as if I shaved (makes me think that isn't be pulled out from the root). Laser which I did a few years back and spent tons of money on…the first few sessions worked beautifully, I was finally seeing results and ecstatic about it. But by the 4th or 5th session I noticed new hair growing around the neck and and jaw area. Thick black hair. I am not sure if this was due to the shaving or not, but regardless I have not been able to get rid of it since. Electrolysis gave him me horrible red bumps in all my pores, and the sessions took at least 2 hours just to target half of the hairs, so I had to stop.
I am olived skin (middle eastern) with very dark hair and naturally hairy. I recently got all my blood work done and there was not sign of hormone imbalance or thyroid issue. Everything looked good!
I am considering trying laser treatment again but am so afraid of wasting time and money. I'm thinking maybe the wrong machine was being used on me? Does anyone have any suggestions for me? I am seriously suffering me this. Thank you!

it's genetic- you are middle eastern- excess facial hair is a recessive trait in MANY middle eastern countries. treat it all you want- it will return.

I feel your pain. I think that with laser treatment it depends what type of laser you use: I tried IPL and it did nothing for me. I suggest that whatever type of laser you used just wasn't suitable for your skin type, so try another. Good luck!
