Asked: Should i still have permanent hair straightening?

Hi friends

I had very long, thick, wavy hair which grows back fast whenever i cut it. So i cut it last week till half of my back. I cut it because i wanted to do permanent hair straightening because my boyfriend suggested me to do so.

I loved my hair a lot but recently i had got lot of dandruff & hair fall. I took medical treatment from a specialist & my dandruff was cured. But i still have hair fall.

I had never thought that i would ever do it but i am doing it only for my boyfriend.

I am going to do permanent hair straightening on Saturday.

Will permanent hair straightening have any bad effect on my hair?

Please give me any suggestions!! 🙂

I have been seriously thinking about your question and I think you should be careful with this. Specifically, permanently straight hair would require straightening every three months which would cause damage and slight hair loss.

procedures like rebounding requires a lot of chemicals to be left in the hair, in fact it is the chemical coating of the chemical that keeps the hair straight for so long. your dandruff and hair fall are the result of this and if you are thinking of doing it permanently i wish you luck for two reasons: 1st, life changes and so do people, choices and moods….today the boyfriend you are willing to sacrifice the health of your hair for, may not be around to admire or appreciate your sacrifice. 2nd, permanent means permanent! what if next season you or your boyfriend would prefer another style of hair for you-what then? and last but not the least….its easy to live with bald men. a bald woman is no one’s dream girl, so weigh the idea of boyfriend vs. hair carefully.
