Asked: Hair dye removing help?

I attempted to dye my hair a chocolate brown colour last June, I made the mistake of using two dyes-both permanent-and it turned black, it has lightened since then but it shows no signs of growing out or even fading. Is there anyway I can remove or even lighten it without using a strip kit as I don't want to completely ruin my hair. I've tried using fairy washing up liquid, mayonnaise and clarifying shampoo with baking soda and they have only slightly lightened it. As it has been eight months I really don't understand how it hasn't even started to fade, any answers are much appreciated! 🙂

doesn't the word 'permanent' give you a clue? You can't do anything.. it's actually IN your hair, so you will just have to either cut it off, or maybe run some highlights through to lighten it without totally destroying your hair

Coconut oil is good. 🙂 I'm using that. And it helps hair become thick shiny and conditions it. 🙂 helps with growth too because it stimulates your scalp wen you put it on xx

At night keep it tied up really tight in a bun with any amount of conditioner in it so you pull your hair out a tiny bit and also this protects it from breaking due to friction against the pillow, and the conditioner keeps it moisturised.
Eat lots of protein
