Asked: I need help with a beard trimmer?

Alright guys so I hope I dont get flamed with obvious answers, but here I go.
So I have a beard, im only 21 and I have a full fledged curly beard, my actual head hair is
straight and if it grows long enough if will go straight down my back, so my head hair has no curl or whatever to it, just to get that out of the way, but my facial hair. well. I'd say when it gets quite long and when I say long I mean about.. about maybe 5 – 10cm you may not consider that long but I find it quite long and hard to handle. now Im not really "In the know" when it comes to styling a beard, I usually just grow it out or shave it off. but I've decided now maybe I want to shave it, but let it grow into a style then keep it that way, Grooming if you will.

Now I have a few ideas on what I roughly want but i'm so illiterate when it comes to this sort of stuff, so here are some images of what I roughly want and if anyone has a idea on what that particular style is, give me a shout please 🙂

So this is what I want

But thats roughly around what I want, I dont really know what length that is, but how does one go around achieving this sort of beard and mustache combo?

Thank you for reading 🙂

Oh, that is a great looking beard!!!!This will be surprisingly easy for you to accomplish, also! You need to purchase a 'trimmer' like this:http://www.wahlhomeproducts.com/Products , Groomsman Pro. Notice this isn't one of those giant hair clippers that people use to give themselves buzz cuts. This is a smaller clipper and it has multiple 'guards' that come with it.

When you trim your beard, begin using the largest guard. Follow the directions that come with the unit. Clip in an upward direction til the bulk of the beard is cut. Use a smaller guard if you prefer a shorter beard. Next, take the guards off and use the clipper to remove the beard on the neck. Also upwards motion. Play around until you get the shape you desire!Have fun!
