Asked: What are some things to do to make your hair grow?

My hair has never been past my chest. I'm fifteen years old,and I treat my hair pretty well. I rarely ever use heat on it, and wear it up a lot. I use leave in conditioner, hair repair shampoo and conditioner, & use cocanut oil every other night. I also take vitamins for my hair and nails. I want long hair so badly. People tell me to cut my hair,& I do get it trimmed sometimes. My hair barely grows after a cut though, so its a bit frustrating. Anyone who can help?

You sound like your treating your hair very well. There's nothing you can do further than that without over doing it. How often of you wash your hair? If you have dryer hair, try washing 3 or 4 times every two weeks. That's what I do and I find that my hair feels healthier. My hair is currently at my waist. I trim it about once a year, oil it about once a month and hardly ever use heat on my hair.

Try massaging your scalp and hanging your head upside down, it gets the blood up to your scalp.Other than that, you're doing all you can do, just give it time!
