Asked: 17 and loosing my hair, help me guys PLEASE ! :'(?
Hey guys, I'm really depressed and I don't know what to do … I'm 17 and I have rly low amounts of hair and its rly thin…Until the age of 14 or 15 people always told me I had way too much hair and so..but in 2 years everything changed, I can no longer look at myself as a pretty boy, nor have a decent attitude around my friends and so..
I'm completly lost and don't know what to do to get my life back, sincerly I'd rather live half of my lifetime with a smile on my face rather thn wasting such an important part of my life looking at the floor, trying to stay alone from every1…
Probly you can't help me out much, since there is no cure for such an horrible "disease" but I guess you guys could throw some opinions on what should I do :'(
Some stuff to have in consideration:
-My mother side family is all completly full of hair
-My dad side is pretty much the same exept my father, he had a decent amount of hair until the age of 3x+, he's now around 45 and has low hair (not fully bald thought)
-I had alot of stress problems (my dad used to beat on my mom and me, and so on..)
-Since 12-13 my hair has been curly brown/blonde, medium size… And right be4 my parents broke up, my hairstyle changed drammatically
-I already went to a doctor, and all he said was that I had that "genetic alopecia" and gave me Finasteride (I had 16 by that time…I'm way too young for stuff like this I guess) only used it for 1 month cause ppl said I was too young.
I just don't know what to do, my life is a complete sh1t..I just can't live with my hair, it's a big part of me :(; I mean maybe I wouldn't care that much if my youth hadn't been so good, and in that case my self-esteem wouldn't be so high like it used to be….
I'm already at the gym but I never took that "badass bald guy" idea in consideration, I don't like it very much..and my head doesn't fit well as a bald guy…

(I don't get it how things are growing so fast, internet, cure for cancer, etc etc etc, but they can't find a"cure" for baldness….)
Answers:
Nope no real cure for baldness. A lot of those products like propecia and others mess with your hormones and make your penis smaller. In the end I would rather have a bald head than a tiny penis
shave it all off and start body building
to at least get trim if not buff.
no one will care then about your hair.
no employer or girlfriend will care.
given your doc's info that is best way
to save u time money and effort.
This would sound like typical man panic, but you're only 17.This is NOT male pattern baldness.You should go see a doctor right away as the hair loss could be a symptom of something else–everything from radiation poisoning to severe stress or trauma.
Don't wait!
Well the good news is that there is a cure for that. Its called hair transplant! Its so effective and fast. Make a research on this.
