Asked: How to keep my hair straight?

I’ve got curly hair, which I wash, blow-dry and then straighten at night (using Tresemme heat spray). Then I plait my hair (it goes weird and greasier if I leave it down), push my “bangs” (Fringe I’m growing out, I part it to the side, and when straightened they reach the bottom of my nose) back with a hairband and go to bed. In the morning I take it out and straighten my hair again. Within a few hours, it’s gone flat, a bit wavy, and sometimes greasy.

I’d love hair like this: http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m8odhi
Or this kind of texture: http://s3.amazonaws.com/rapgenius/hipste (Kinda dry and fluffy)

Any help appreciated 🙂 Thank you!

Mine always goes back curly by the end of the day as well, if there is even a hint of moisture in the air I have to pull it up or just curl it. I have a mini straightener that I carry in my purse and can do a quick run through when I get a chance during the day. Have you looked into getting a permanent straightener put in your hair? I had a friend who did this after he got a perm she didn’t like and her hair is straight now.
