Asked: Why don’t females experience the awkward stage when growing out hair?

I noticed that, when a girl gets herself a boy cut and decides to grow her long locks out again, she never seems to experience the awkward stage. Her hair looks good at any point in time as she grows her hair out. A guy, on the other hand, gets punished by an awkward stage of probably a year and looks like a mess until the hair grows to about shoulder length. Why?

Girls know how to style it at said "awkward" stage. Most guys do not, so the "awkward" shows.

Trust me we do experience it but go to great lengths to hide it and make it look as good as possible. Also, we know a lot more tricks than you guys do. ;D

believe me, girls do get the awkward stage. I had a bad case of "triangle head" for a year in 5th grade after I cut my hair for cancer. The fact of the matter is that its more common for girls to use clips, scrunchies, headbands etc to help their short hair look better, and this isn't as commonplace for men and boys 🙂
