Asked: How to care for natural, curly hair ?

I have very curly, natural, does what it wants hair, I wash it probably once every 2-3 weeks and condition it every week,it only will look how I want it to if I use products and styling tools…but my hair can only look good for one day that way because it gets tangled and.greasy from styling it and then going on with my day, at the end of the day it’s tangley and messed up and I can’t just wash it because then I’d be OVER washing my hair and that would just be creating another problem…so what I wanna knoww is how should I care for my hair, how often should I wash it..condition it. .. what products are okay..for my hair to be natural and more manageable.. ..As if I was 5 years old and I didn’t know anything about doing hair..that’s just how it grew .What should I do to havery naturally, bouncy, free clean hair?

I’ve been trying my whole life. I’ve got it cut way short a few times and used to straighten it for hours a day. I honestly rarely wash my hair. I read in an article once from an expert saying to never wash it, but that’s a little weird for me. I use leave-in conditioner in spray form. It seems lighter and less greasy. Make sure you get it trimmed enough because unhealthy split ends look even worse on curly hair and make it frizzier. Don’t wrap it in a towel or brush it while it’s wet. Don’t even touch it when it’s wet, unless it’s to use product. I used to use leave-in conditioner, de-frizz serum and curl defining spray gel, but it was a lot of work and my hair is waist-length, so it was annoying to do all that work then have it down all day anyway. I’m faithful to Garnier Fructis, but the last time I got a haircut, I was told about Redken shots, and I’ve heard a lot of good about them since. That’s something you get at a salon though, and only ever once in awhile.

Wash you’re hair everyday or two to three days! condition them the day you wash them. that why you don’t feel clean!!!! when you get out if the shower from washing it, comb it and put in a curl sculpting cream or spray. then you could blow dry or hair dry. BUT DO NOT brush or comb it when it dries or is damp. just trust me. :). also when it’s dry you can finger brush in a frizz serum. I recommend herbal essence frizz serum. it works and doesn’t weigh it down. even if you don’t have frizzy hair it makes you’re hair look great. also you could straitened it or touch up you’re curls with a curling iron. but remember to use a heat protectant before you do either. I recommend frizz ease heat defeat spray. I think that’d it also hp to change you’re shampoo and conditioner. I think Pantene works great. they leave you’re hair fresh and light. good luck!!
