Asked: How to make curly hair less frizzy?

Okay so my hair is about 5 cm longer from my shoulder, whenever its wet for example when I go swimming or have a shower or when it rains, its goes really thick, frizzy and heaps curly and I really, really hate it! I'd never go out with my hair how it naturally is so I straighten it probably every day, and its getting me worried because as we all know heat appliances to your hair can really damage it! I was wondering if there was a way to make your hair become less curly or frizzy, for example any products of a cheap price that can lower the frizz or any shampoos/conditioners any one would recommend to me? I've also heard that the longer your hair is the curls begin to kinda ease down a little so I've been trying to grow my hair out and I was wondering if thats true? Please answers guys and thanks for your time! xx 🙂

I don't think greasy hair will be good for you. Natural hair oil contains small traces of testosterone which, if left on the scalp for extended periods of time, could potentially accelerate hair shedding or hair loss. This is what I once read but I can't verify it. Don't over or under shampoo. Shampooing every other day is best. Keep it clean, combed, etc. Washing and combing actually stimulate circulation in the scalp and help with hair health and growth. Most importantly, eat lots of raw leafy greans in salad, fruit, beans, etc. and drink plenty of water. Your hair will grow very fast. If you're very serious, rubbing your scalp with onion juice will also help accelerate hair growth.

But then again, short hair is also beautiful and try styling it in different ways and before you know it it will grow long again after you eat healthy, avoid junk food, drink plenty of water, and keep your hair clean and conditioned.
