Asked: how can i get rid of split ends?

i recently have been straightening my hair and i damaged it so i'm trying to grow it really long by the summer its shoulder length , my mom's side all have really amazing long hair some of people in their family have hip length hair and the rest rlly long , my mom does too so i tried as much as possible tot ake care of it and stuff but i noticed that my mom would trim my hair cut alot of my hair and then in a month boom the same length it was b4 but then splits seems to appear and my hair then doesn't seem to grow longer i dont notice growth probably cus of breakage tell me what shud i do
and how often should i trim it , then i have to cut off alot and gets back in the same length PLEASE
TELL ME HOW I CAN TREAT BREAKAGE AND SPLIT ENDS HOW OFTEN SHUD I TRIM IT THANKS MEANS ALOT TO ME AND PLEASE TELL ME AN TIPS TO MAKE IT GROW AN INCH OR REALLY FAST 🙂

use a really good deep conditioner once or twice a week and trim it once a month and try not to straighten it as much since the heat damages the hair.

straightening your hair without heat protectant is extremely damaging. so you should start using a heat protectant before straightening and try to not straighten your hair as much. also I've been growing my hair out for about 4 years and i get mine trimmed about once a month. it keeps it healthy and strong.
