Asked: When should I trim my split ends?

My hair length is almost to my waist, I'm thinking about letting it grow to tailbone length, though I have some split ends.. Is it fine/healthy to not trim my hair until it has reached to tailbone length?

Thanks.

Splint ends may cause the growth to stop

Its going to take much longer to grow if you don't trim those off. The split in will just get worse until the ends of your hair will break off, also when you trim your hair it triggers something and makes you hair grow more. After you trim off the damage your hair will look healthier too, all the nutrients wont be going into trying to repair the ends so it can work on making the rest of your hair stronger and shinier.
Hope this helps!
